Afterschool @ P.S. 139
*For P.S. 139, P.S. 217, P.S. 249, & P.S. 130 students:

Afterschool is hosted at P.S. 139. Students who attend 139 will remain on site. Schools other than 139 will be walked over to the after-school program at P.S. 139 by an official Sports United Coach.

Afterschool @ P.S. 889:

P.S. 889 students who attend Sports United afterschool will remain at the P.S. 889 site.

Afterschool @ P.S 10:

P.S. 10 students will have a Sports United coach on site for the PTA extended day after-school.

Sports United aims to be inclusive and make its sports based youth development programs available to families at all income levels. Please contact us about our sliding scale program if the full rate precludes your child from participating.

About Sports United After-School:

We provide full scale after-school programs where children can excel and succeed academically and through sports. We will operate a 5-day after-school program this upcoming school year to give our students more access to our program and to assist families.

In our after-school we offer the kind of flexibility that our families need. We supervise homework, provide specialized sports training such as basketball, flag football, lacrosse, european handball soccer, and more! We focus on health and & fitness by providing healthy quality snacks, and the amount of recreational games we play. In the future we’d like to offer a variety of enrichment activities in our program such as yoga, fencing, art, music and drama.

Studies have shown students significantly do better academically, socially, and emotionally when attending our after-school program.
